Workmanship warranty

1 · What's covered

For 10 years from the day we finish, we'll fix any leak or failure caused by how we installed your roof: nailing, flashing, underlayment laps, drip edge, ventilation and ridge, at no cost to you, parts and labour included.

2 · What's not

1. Damage from storms, hail, wind above the shingle's rating, falling trees or anything else outside our control. That's what your insurance is for.
2. Work by anyone else on the roof after we finish (satellite dishes, solar, other roofers), and any leak it causes.
3. Problems with parts of the house we didn't touch: walls, windows, chimney masonry above the flashing.
4. Defects in the materials themselves. Those fall under the manufacturer's warranty, which we register for you.

3 · How to claim

Call or email. We'll inspect within two working days and tell you in writing whether it's covered. If it is, we fix it. If it isn't, we'll say why and quote the repair.

4 · If you sell the house

The warranty transfers to the next owner once, for the time remaining. Send us their name within 60 days of the sale.

5 · Repairs

Repairs (not full replacements) carry a 2-year workmanship warranty on the area we repaired.
