Storm just hit? Do this first.

  1. Stay off the roof

Wet shingles are slick and damaged decking can give way. Nothing up there is worth a fall.

  2. Photograph from the ground

Dented gutters, vents, AC fins, shingles in the yard, granules at the downspouts. Date-stamped photos help your claim.

  3. Tarp openings only if it's safe

Inside, catch drips and move valuables. Outside, only if you can reach it from the ground. Or call us and we'll tarp it.

  4. Call your insurer, then book an inspection

Report the date of the storm. Our inspection is free and gives you photos and a written report to send them.

Metal roofing

Standing-seam steel is the long game: hidden fasteners, raised seams, and a finish that throws back the Texas sun. Hail dents it, but it rarely leaks.

  3. Seam

Panels locked and seamed, trim and flashing bent on site.

Metal roofing · FAQ

Your questions.

Does hail dent metal roofs?

Large hail can. The panels usually stay watertight, but many policies exclude cosmetic damage on metal. Read yours before choosing.

Is metal louder in rain?

Over a solid deck and underlayment, not really. It's the open barn roofs that drum.
